Toasting St. Patrick's Day
What better excuse to kick up your heels and enjoy some cheer!
March 27th, 2012 | Calgary, Alberta
On March 17th, 2012, our community of Regnum Christi Calgary came together in the gymnasium of Clear Water Academy to enjoy a scrumptious roast beef dinner and to kick-up the heels in celebration of St. Patrick's feast day. The festivities also included a "surprise" 40th birthday celebration for Michelle Hoffman by her team with a delicious cake and spiritual bouquet. There was truly something for everyone to enjoy at this event. Besides the music and dancing, there were raffle and silent auction items by the talented Judy Shewchuk. All enjoyed "guessing" the number of gold coins in the beer mug. One of the most engaging parts of the night was Bill & Linda Britton's Irish Jig on the dance floor. It was wonderful to see the place full with people of all age groups enjoying themselves. Congratulations to Colette Hall and her team and to event planner, Roseline Moroney, for a most enjoyable evening.
